RAHConnections is a professionally managed, volunteer-based support system provided in the comfort of your home, assisted living facility, nursing center or wherever you call home. Designed to assist those challenged by an advancing illness, our program is available to Rockbridge County residents at no charge.
RAHConnections services are coordinated by our Patient and Family Care supervisor, Kam Flynn, MSW. Services are tailored to meet your individual needs and goals. Specially trained volunteers work with you and your family to provide practical (non-medical) support.

Who does RAHConnections serve?
RAHConnections is available to individuals who have been diagnosed with a progressive illness with a prognosis of one year or less. Unlike hospice patients, our clients may choose to pursue curative treatment.
What does it cost?
There is no charge for services provided by RAHConnections. RAH does not bill Medicare, Medicaid or any other insurance provider. Our services are offered as a contribution to our community.

RAHConnections recognizes that volunteerism is the cornerstone of its service to clients and families. Our volunteers are dedicated, empathetic, knowledgeable individuals who are specially trained to assist in the most effective and skillful manner possible.
