Grateful Neighbor Program

At Rockbridge Area Hospice, leading-edge, end-of-life care and compassion go hand in hand. Our patient's families often express their gratitude for this excellent care in a variety of ways, through their kind words, smiles, letters of thanks and philanthropic contributions.
The Grateful Neighbor Program provides an opportunity to recognize the care your loved one received as a patient of Rockbridge Area Hospice. You may honor staff, a physician(s), an area of care, or a clinical program while making a tangible, meaningful impact on our ability to care for patients.
Your donation will support the Good Neighbor fund and will help support neighbors in our community that are underinsured, uninsured, and provide healthcare options that otherwise would not be available. Contributions help to support unreimbursed palliative care treatments, and complimentary services such as massage, reiki and music, which provide comfort and peace at a difficult time.
The Good Neighbor Fund at Rockbridge Area Hospice is crucial to the success of our mission to treat, comfort, and provide supportive care for terminally ill patients and their families to enable them to live life fully, regardless of their ability to pay.
